Dr. Brian Paris
"I began chiropractic at 10 years old from a football injury...little did I realize that I could not only recover from injuries but improve my athletic performance and live a healthier life in general. I feel fortunate to know what I know so that my family and friends can benefit for a lifetime."
I come from a line of health care professionals (one brother a medical doctor and the other a chiropractor). Fortunately, I was exposed to the amazing world of chiropractic, other natural healing arts and many inspiring practitioners at a young age. I have always had an interest in helping people, so combining that along with an interest in mechanics and a creative ability with my hands...so the story is written.
Beginning back in his days as an all-state lacrosse player in New Jersey, Dr. Paris has been interested in body mechanics and peak performance. He began his college studies at Emory University in Atlanta, GA, finishing with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiological Sciences from the University of Maryland, College Park with a focus in biomechanics.
Dr. Paris continued his studies at Life University in Marietta, GA earning his Doctorate of Chiropractic. While at Life University, Dr. Paris served as President of the Chiropractic BioPhysics® technique club. He became a certified member early in school which led to teaching many of his colleagues. He is now an Advanced Certified Fellow and Instructor of the Chiropractic BioPhysics® technique. Dr. Paris served as a guest lecturer while in
school in subjects such as spine biomechanics and biorheology (study of the deformation of soft tissues such as discs and ligaments). He became certified in Neuromuscular Therapy while in school.
As Chiropractic BioPhysics® instructor, Dr. Paris has had the opportunity to teach chiropractors around the country as well as hosting seminars at his facility, Advanced Spine & Wellness Center in Rockville, MD. Chiropractic BioPhysics® is a more comprehensive, scientific approach to chiropractic and provides more predictable and successful results for patients. It involves standard chiropractic joint adjustments as well as mirror image® postural adjustments, traction and spinal exercise.
Our goal is to help create a healthier and more active community. We should be living active and pain free lives! We provide a unique blended approach of structural corrective chiropractic, manual and movement physical therapies. Dr. Paris, along with his experienced clinical team of physical therapists and chiropractors, has developed an Advanced Spine Care System that integrates the best techniques and technology in spine care.
Patients who are committed to changing their lives and creating new habits get the best results with our system. It is deeply fulfilling to help moms be able pick up their children again, enable athletes to perform better on the field or watch children grow up healthy.
